Additionally, we need a photo of the vehicle's identification plate. This is probably located in the driver's door frame (B-pillar) or in the engine compartment. This plate must show a number in the following format: "e6*2001/12*0123*01".

The year of manufacture can also be provided optionally, but it is not necessary. It serves as a help to find possible errors. For example, vehicles before 1995 most likely do not yet have EU type approval and cannot obtain a COC document.

As a business customer or company, please include your VAT identification number (VAT ID). For companies in Germany or private individuals, this is not necessary.

If the delivery of a COC for your chassis number (VIN) is not possible, for example because the vehicle is too old or was not built for the European market, we will immediately cancel the order and refund the full purchase price.

Once the document has been created by the vehicle manufacturer, you will receive an email with the PDF of your COC. With this copy, it is possible, in many cases, to register your vehicle or carry out a technical inspection. The original document will then be sent to you by mail or express.
